Sessions

Supporting the Diverse Needs of Non-Traditional Learners

Join us for a dialogue between educators who specialize in teaching individuals with specific needs. Some of our learners are professionals engaging in “life hacking,” developing their language skills to higher levels in specific domains. Others are young, neurodiverse learners who have traditionally not had access to language study due to their unique needs.

In this session, we will discuss different ways that learners can build language acquisition into their daily routines. We will also provide guidance to teachers who can serve as guides to these learners, collaborating with them to curate their language-learning experience, using better, more pedagogically-sound assets such as authentic materials and community involvement.

This presentation will be available for on-demand viewing on December 2nd during Global CRED. Register for Global CRED below, it’s quick easy and free!
