Jayne Abrate

Jayne Abrate (Ph.D. Purdue University) has been Executive Director of the AATF since 1997. She is the recipient of the ACTFL Nelson Brooks Excellence in the Teaching of Culture Award, the Central States Conference Founders Award, and is a Commandeur in the French Ordre des Palmes académiques and a Chevalier in the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. She has published and presented widely on the teaching of culture, French cuisine, teaching with technology, and using authentic materials.
