The Global Seal of Biliteracy was founded and sponsored by Avant Assessment to empower bilinguals with equitable and accessible ways to document and share their skills through free language certification. Its mission is guided by an independent Board of Advisors composed of international experts in the field of multilingual education, second language acquisition, educational research, and assessment.
