Bilingual Broadcasting
Growing up with a multilingual mother, I have always appreciated the value of speaking another language. Little did I know how much having the ability to speak Spanish would impact my college career. I am now a producer for Temple University’s Lo Último, a Spanish newscast, and I am also the director of La Charla, Temple University’s Latinx talk show. Bilingualism is crucial in telling meaningful stories, and it has given me a platform to connect with the Spanish-speaking community of Philadelphia and beyond.
