Global Y-C.R.E.D. 2025

Save The Date

"Y-C.R.E.D. 2025" hosted by the Global Seal of Biliteracy, is a free international language learner event from November 3 to November 14, 2025.

Our goal is to provide students with strategies to enhance their language skills, insights into leveraging their bilingualism, and connecting them to meaningful future opportunities. The event emphasizes the significance of "Y", representing "Youth", and also addresses the question, "WHY learn a language?". The Y-C.R.E.D. event includes on-demand content to accommodate any academic schedule and resources to turn the event into a mini youth conference celebrating the power of bilingualism and the impact of language learning.

We invite both language learners and educators to submit a session proposal.  Look at the event tracks below, select a topic, and propose a session. Presentation submissions are due by September 30, 2025. Acceptance notices will be sent to Presenter #1 on or before October 8, 2025. If accepted, the pre-recorded video must be uploaded by October 24, 2025. No late video submissions will be accepted.


Our 2025 Y-C.R.E.D. learning tracks include:

Student Tracks:  (educator or student presenters) 15-minute maximum pre-recorded video

  1. Level-Up

    • Learn/Improve a Language on your own

    • Use AI to Level-Up

    • Share online/virtual conversation opportunities that work!

    • Design your own pathway to Global Seal of Biliteracy certification 

  2. Leverage your Bilingualism

    • Highlight your bilingualism for academic opportunities/scholarships  

    • Boost career opportunities with language skills

    • What to do with your Global Seal of Biliteracy certification

    • Build your visibility with multilingual content creation 

  3. Link to Future Opportunities

    • Share a program for multilinguals (to use or improve their language skills)

    • Participate in study abroad, exchange, or NGO programs

    • Benefits to being bilingual in specific careers or  “Jobs with Languages”

    • Conferences or events for multilingual students 


Educator Tracks:  30 minute maximum pre-recorded video 

  1. Using Formative Assessments to improve your teaching and learning

  2. Personalized Coaching to help your students

  3. AI and Digital tools for improving specific language skills

  4. Share your Global Seal of Biliteracy success story  (highlight program impact, student stories, etc.)
