Global Classroom Pair-Share, an innovative way to connect classrooms around the globe with a shared focus of learning language and discovering new places and cultures. Our first Global Classroom Pair-Share program took place from October to December in 2022 with multiple real-time and asynchronous classroom interactions. Classrooms collaborated around a monthly theme to complete one or more activities and shared their work with one another. Participating teachers and students were recognized with certificates and Letters of Recognition were sent to their school directors and administrators.

Announcing Global Classroom Pair-Share 2024

The Global Seal of Biliteracy has kicked off our THIRD COHORT of the Global Classroom Pair-Share; a new, innovative way to connect classrooms around the globe with a shared focus of learning language and discovering new places and cultures. Language teachers from all over the world will be partnering with other teachers and their classes to complete a three month collaborative project around language learning.

Fall 2022 Global Classroom Pair-share

In fall of 2022, Global Classroom Pair-Share connected language-learning classrooms around the world for three months of meaningful, interactive projects. The collaborative activities focused on a monthly theme and included language, content, and information and communicative technology (ICT) goals. In total, 565 students from 13 different countries participated.

Spring 2023 Global Classroom Pair-share

In the spring of 2023, Global Classroom Pair-Share focused on “Celebrating Your Language Journey” in which we will focus on helping learners navigate their own pathway towards second language proficiency. Once again connecting hundreds of students from around the world.
