Compelling and comprehensible input, tailored to the varied interests and needs of learners, is key to learning outcomes. Where can we find it? How can we make it? The opportunities are immense and growing. I draw on my own experience with languages like Persian, Arabic and Ukrainian where resources are far more limited than is the case for English or Spanish. These principles are universal and apply to all languages.
