Seal of Biliteracy Requirements

The specific requirements for earning this seal vary by state, district, or school, but typically involve demonstrating a certain level of language proficiency, as measured by the ACTFL or CEFR Proficiency Scales. In some cases reaching a specific grade point average in language study can also qualify you for a seal of biliteracy.
