The Digital Language Profile is a free online profile built for Global Seal of Biliteracy recipients. It gives you one place to store, manage, and share your language credentials with anyone: colleges, employers, teachers, family, or friends.
With your profile, you can:
Share a direct link on your resume, LinkedIn, social media, personal website, or college applications
Tell your language story and highlight your bilingual or multilingual background
Add new Global Seal certifications as you continue to grow your skills
Send official, verifiable transcripts directly to institutions
Your profile is ready to activate now. All you need is the serial number and security code from your Global Seal certificate or congratulations letter.
Note: The profile is currently available exclusively to individuals who have received the Global Seal of Biliteracy.

General Information

Yes. Your Language Profile includes a Transcript Service that lets you send official, verified transcripts directly to any institution. Just enter their email or mailing address and we handle the rest.

Creating a profile gives you a way to digitally store and share your Global Seal certificate. It makes it easy to showcase your language skills to employers, schools, friends, and family. You can share it on social media, add it to your resume, and take it with you anywhere.

Nope! Signing up and using the platform is completely free. You just need a valid Global Seal certificate.

Yes—if your profile is set to public, anyone with the link can view it, including employers and schools.

You can share your profile by simply sending them the public link.

Your first 3 email deliveries are free. After that, additional emails are $4.90 each and physical mail is $8.90 each.
Account & Certificate Verification

To sign up, head over to www.app.theglobalseal.com and click the sign-up button. You’ll need your serial number, which is printed on your Global Seal certificate or can be found in your recipient's email. If your certificate includes a security code (found in your email or on the back of your certificate), you’ll need that too.

Your serial number is located just below the state or country on your certificate. If you received your certificate by email, the serial number and security code are included there as well.

All valid Global Seal certificates should be recognized. If you run into issues, just email us at info@theglobalseal.com and we’ll help out.

No. Right now, you’ll need a valid certificate with a serial number in order to sign up.

If you’ve lost your certificate, you can either contact us for help or order a reprint through our shop.

Yes! Once your account is set up, you can add more certificates under the "Settings" section of your profile.
Profile & Customization

Your profile showcases your Global Seal achievements and is meant to highlight your language skills. It includes your name, workplace, the languages you speak, your fluency level, and your profile picture. We’re working on adding more customization options soon.

For now, you can choose to make your entire profile public or private, but not specific elements.

You can upload or update your profile photo by logging into your account and going to your profile settings.

Yes, you can update this information anytime by logging in and editing your profile.

Yes, your fluency level will always be displayed on your public profile.
Privacy & Security

If your profile is set to public, anyone with your shared link can view it. If it’s set to private, only you can see it.

You can set your profile to private, which hides it from everyone except you. Selective visibility isn’t available yet.

We’ve built the platform using secure industry standards. Your data is encrypted and safely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS), one of the top cloud providers.

No. Your information will never be shared or sold to third parties without your explicit consent.
