Vice President of the Ladue Chapter of Spanish Honor Society

Diya Diwakaran is the Vice President of the Ladue Chapter of Spanish Honor Society this year. Along with SHH, Diya is part of the Ladue Girls cross country and track teams, the Ladue cares-Animal Allies club, and the Ladue Strolling Strings. She is a senior taking AP Spanish Language and Culture. She has been learning Spanish since kindergarten.

The 6 Spanish students of Los carneros de Ladue chapter of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica discuss their language learning experiences in and beyond the classroom. The session is moderated by Spanish teacher and chapter sponsor Maritza Sloan who also is the current President-Elect of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP). The students represent Ladue Horton Watkins high school, St. Louis, MO.
