I have been working as a French teacher for over 40 years teaching all levels of French. After retiring from teaching in a public school in 2015 I now work as the World Language Subject Area Coordinator at San Jose State University. In that role I teach the methods of foreign language course and supervise student teachers. I am currently serving as the president of the American Association of Teachers of French.
