Y-C.R.E.D. Presentations
Global Y-C.R.E.D. is an event to highlight what we do: Credential and Recognize the Excellence and Determination of language learners. #YCRED2023 is designed specifically for middle and high school language learners from around the globe who want to grow and use their language skills. This exciting international event is flexible so wherever language learners are they will be able to access the content you bring us regardless of time zone or class schedule. Our event registration has already begun and early numbers already include over 4,300 students from 29 countries.
To heighten the Global Y-C.R.E.D. experience, the event will host four session tracks or pathways that focus around language learners: Level-Up Language Skills, Leverage Bilingualism, Link to Future Opportunity, and Listen & Learn with Target Language Speakers. Our goal is to support and engage learners, help them level up to reach a Seal of Biliteracy, and help them connect with opportunities to use their language skills in the future.
We are personally inviting individuals with messages we believe important to share in a short 15 video session suitable to fit into any school schedule or even be viewed by students on their own device in their free time. This is not an open Call for Sessions, we are personally inviting you. A few things to consider:
Your audience are students learning one or more languages in grades/levels 6-12.
Your 15-minute video must be recorded and uploaded to us by October 6, 2023.
Making it engaging with supporting visuals - appear on camera or do a voiceover
Consider using closed-captions or text to support lower level language learners.
Sessions should be created for one of our three main tracks:
LEVEL-UP your language skills
The goal for the “LEVEL-UP” track is to provide students with motivation as well as specific strategies to improve one or more of their language skills in order to reach a Seal of Biliteracy goal, or to level-up from one Global Seal certificate level to another.
LEVERAGE your bilingualism
Sessions in the “LEVERAGE” track provide students with inspiration and insight on how to leverage their language skills and their Seal of Biliteracy.
LINK to future opportunity
Our “LINK” track is all about the future. Students can learn about ways to use and grow their language skills while gaining experience through study abroad, internships, volunteer and work experiences.

Y-C.R.E.D. is a free event, created to provide access and resources to ALL language learners and educators, no matter where they are across the globe.
