“Global C.R.E.D. is an international virtual event designed to recognize and celebrate language skills and build awareness of the many bilinguals who have certified their level of skill with a Seal of Biliteracy. ”

The Global Seal of Biliteracy is working to create a pathway for linguistic talent looking for opportunities to grow and use their bilingual skills. We want to highlight and support language learners by providing them with connections to their next level on an exciting lifelong language journey. Global C.R.E.D. is all about what we do: Credentialing and Recognizing Excellence and Determination. We invite you to join us as a language learner or as a valued stakeholder to help bilinguals leverage their skills as together we create a “Learner to User” multilingual pipeline.

Five Major Event Pathways

Language Learners

High school, college and adult learners can join interactive sessions with educators, online learning providers, and other independent learners to learn how to grow, credential, and use their language skills to access academic and career opportunities.

Language Educators

Uniquely designed sessions will provide educators with strategic tools and resources to make language learning relevant and rewarding. Educators can participate with their students to expand opportunities to use their language skills.

Administrators, Counselors and College Recruiters

Global C.R.E.D. is an event to learn about language certification and the benefits it offers to your institution and students. Adoption of the Seal can build your school’s program and reputation.

Employers, Language Service Providers and H.R. Personnel

Connect with bilinguals who can provide the language skills you need. Learn how to identify and attract credentialed bilinguals, and identify and test your current employees.

Language Learning Content Providers

Meet new groups of language learners and explore ways to meet the needs of diverse language learners. Interact with a growing group of committed language learners, many of whom have already earned language credentials.

Lesson Plan

Educators will be able to access a Lesson Plan with interactive student activities. Educators can fully participate in Global C.R.E.D. together with learners without a need for a substitute. If you would like to to receive more information about the Lesson Plan make sure to indicate so on the registration form under the language educator section.

College Fair

Global C.R.E.D. participants will be able to participate in a College Fair to learn more about college and university language programs.

Career Fair

Global C.R.E.D. participants will be able to participate in a Career Fair to learn more about how language skills can be leveraged for employment purposes as well as have the opportunity to connect with employers in the language space.
