The Global Seal of Biliteracy is excited to help you celebrate language learning and provide learners with a tangible marker of their success. When we celebrate students' achievements, it helps build motivation and encourages retention. When coupled with benchmarks, recognition honors a student’s commitment to continuous effort. Celebrations are not only a form of encouragement, they also drive students to stay on track and stay motivated with their learning.

The Global Seal of Biliteracy Pathway Award ribbons are designed to be awarded after students have taken a test of all four skill domains and have met a new proficiency scale level in all four skills, listening, reading, speaking, and writing, on either the ACTFL or CEFR language scale.

All ribbons are 2” wide by 8” in length.
