Southern Conference on Language Teaching
The Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT) is one of the five regional professional organizations for language educators. The SCOLT region is comprised of the 13 southeastern states and the US Virgin Islands. SCOLT offers an annual conference in the spring, and sponsors various awards and scholarships. The 2021 conference will be virtual, March 18-21. Educators can nominate colleagues for K-12 and higher education awards, and high school seniors in the SCOLT region can apply for the Ken Stewart Future Language Educator scholarship. Join us for the virtual conference in March as we explore the theme, "Language Through an Unfiltered Lens"!
