HELP US WELCOME THE WORLD TO EUGENE

The Global Seal of Biliteracy Experience will provide easy and free access on a smartphone to live language interpreting for visitors to the World Athletics Championships Oregon22. We’re inviting local residents with language skills to assist visitors in their language through both voice and text chat. The #GlobalSealExperience will provide visitors with free access to a platform to connect with volunteer Global Guides who can help them find their way around Eugene and make them feel welcome.

If you have skills in two or more languages, we invite YOU to become a Global Guide.

It’s easy to become a Global Guide volunteer. You’ll receive a FREE nationally recognized Avant STAMP language test that can be taken in-person at a host site or in the comfort of your home. To see if you're language skills may earn you a Global Seal of Biliteracy, check out our free self-assessment. If your language skills are rated at the functional fluency level or higher, you’ll qualify for and receive a Global Seal of Biliteracy language credential to document your skills.
