Tracy Rucker
French Teacher
Presenter, Bureau of Education and Research
President, AATF-KY
Vice-President Elect, AATF
The serenity of nature and the diversity of the people - packed into a quaint campus, striving towards a common goal at The University of the South where Mr. Rucker matriculated - remains a fascinating aspect of his life, for it was at the apex of this hidden Southern gem that he developed a strong sense of character. An award-winning world language teacher, Mr. Rucker presents at regional and state conferences, and he travels often to deepen understanding of the world. Teaching about diversity, a pertinent aspect, remains cemented in the societal norms as Rucker delves deeper into anecdotal realities to uncover cultural icebergs. He insists that studying perspectives of people provide an undeniably continual source of passion for him as he delves into aspects of the Francophone world with students. Such innately wired passions for history and liberal arts allow Mr. Rucker to make genuine connections with students.
