Curriculum Innovation Study Abroad Designer
Lisette Nieto Geib is a Spanish teacher at River Bluff High School with over 20 years of classroom teaching experience. She holds certifications in SCLead, AP Spanish, ADEPT, and as an ACTFL OPI Tester. She was also Awarded Interpersonal TOPS (Teachers of Power Skills) for Lexington County School District one. She has revised district curriculums, exams, and created case studies to align with EL objectives. She serves as a mentor teacher and sponsor of Spanish National Honor Society and has also presented at SCFLTA. She has created and sponsored clubs such as TAP (Teens Against Prejudice) and Challenge Day, both of which promoted diversity, leadership, and unity among students, faculty, and communities. She is currently the CEO of My Time Abroad, a cultural study abroad and immersion program that has led hundreds of students to other parts of the world. She holds a Masters in Elementary Education and is currently completing her Ed.S in Curriculum, Instruction and Innovation.
