Language Education Advocate, Author of five books including The Bilingual Revolution: The Future of Education is in Two Languages
Nicknamed “the Godfather of language immersion programs” by the New York Times, Fabrice Jaumont has over 25 years of experience in international education and the development of multilingual programs. He serves as Education Attaché for the Embassy of France to the US; President of the Center for the Advancement of Languages, Education, and Communities; adjunct faculty in international education at NYU, and research fellow at FMSH Paris. He hosts a podcast, a blog, speaks to audiences world-wide and has published five books. The Bilingual Revolution: The Future of Education is in Two Languages, provides inspirational vignettes and practical advice for parents and educators who want to create a dual-language program in their own school. His most recent book The Gift of Languages: Paradigm Shift in U.S. Foreign Language Education, touches on the issue of of a foreign language deficit in the United States and sets the stage for a new paradigm in our approach to teaching & learning languages.

Dr. Fabrice Jaumont is the author of The Bilingual Revolution: The Future of Education is in Two Languages which tells the story of a grassroots movement that emerged out of the dedicated involvement of motivated parents, educators, and community actors willing to create and support dual language programs in public schools. Combining insight on learning and living in two languages, the presentation shares practical applications and examples of bilingual education, from preschool to high school. With New York as a backdrop, Fabrice Jaumont, from a personal and scholarly perspective, will share the successes and setbacks of these programs through vignettes that feature parents and educators he helped start bilingual programs in their school.
