My name is Aliza. I graduated from Hatikvah and am now attending Rae Kushner Yeshiva Highschool as a Freshman. Even though English is my native language, I have been speaking Hebrew for about 9 years. My grandparents are Israeli and speak fluently. I have been to Israel every summer, starting from when I was 8 years old, because a lot of my family lives there.

Join high school students as they reflect on language learning, their motivations, challenges and opportunities, and why they care about Hebrew. Fun, informal, and primarily in this second language, this round table will provide a great opportunity for these students to share their important perspectives.
