Bilingualism Matters: Connecting Research, Policy and Practice

Research shows that multilingualism in any languages, regardless of prestige or worldwide diffusion, can provide a range of cognitive and social benefits. However, there are still many misconceptions, both old and new, about what it means to be or become multilingual. I will show how the public engagement center Bilingualism Matters connects research and communities in many different countries to enable informed decisions in society.
