5 Keys to Maximizing Synchronous Time in Online Instruction

On Demand Session

This session will identify 5 key strategies that prepare students to maximize their synchronous time in both online and face to face class meetings. Essential features for successful lessons in virtual environments will be addressed. Participants will realize that it isn’t about how much time, but rather, about how the time is spent that has the greatest impact on student performance. Following this short session participants will be able to articulate clear strategies for maximizing the amount of oral practice students have during synchronous sessions. In addition, participants will identify actions they can take to alter their current lessons thus providing better support for student movement on the path to proficiency.
