ALTA Speaking/Listening and Writing Assessment

The ALTA Language Test is comprised of multiple sections, Speaking, Listening and Writing. The ALTA test is one of the Global Seal of Biliteracy’s qualifying tests and depending on the language being tested the ALTA test can be automatically delivered anywhere, anytime or scheduled in advance.

New Proctoring Requirements:

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ALTA is making available a home testing option option for the ALTA test. It is part of Global Seal of Biliteracy’s policy that each and every accepted test is proctored to the standards that protect the integrity of the test to the highest degree. For this reason, we are only able to accept the ALTA 2020 tests that are teacher or 3rd party proctored if using the remote proctoring option to qualify for the Global Seal of Biliteracy.
